About the mobile app
01 Which devices does the app run on?
iOS and Android phones. All entry, approval and administration work also happens in the browser, so desk workers do not need a phone. The app adds the clock-in specialities on top: the home-screen clock-in widget, the offline queue and the app lock.
02 Does everyone have to install the app?
No. The app is an optional aid – entry and confirmation also work in the browser. Employees without their own phone clock in on the site’s shared terminal with an NFC card, with a PIN confirmation if you want one.
03 Will the phone buzz constantly?
Kelomo reminds you only about what is unfinished and bundles messages into digests. Night-time messages wait until morning, and you can tune the notification frequency yourself.
04 Does the app show the employee’s location?
Location relates only to the moment of clocking in, and only if the employer has explicitly enabled it. There is no continuous tracking in the app, and by default no location is stored.
