Payroll period close
The payroll period closes in four steps.
Approve the period’s days.
Supervisors approve the period’s workdays, absences and trips from a single queue – exceptions highlighted.
Lock the period.
Locking freezes the calculation for the payroll run, and everyone sees the locked period in their own calendar.
Preview and export.
The export batch is previewed and delivered as a file or a direct transfer. The payroll-period report shows exactly the same figure as the exported data.
Correct with an audit trail.
Changes made after the export become their own correction events and are picked up in the next batch.

Payroll export questions
01 Are hours or ready payroll events exported?
Either: raw hour rows as they are, or events pre-classified into pay items (premiums, overtime, Sundays) – whichever your payroll system expects.
02 Can the transfer run without downloading files?
Yes. Alongside file download, the data can be delivered directly over SFTP or API to systems that allow it. Credentials are stored encrypted.
03 Can one Kelomo hold several employer companies?
Yes. In a group the export is split by employer: each company gets its own data under its own business ID, and a person’s employer is determined by their employment.
