Review the workday. Don’t fill it in from scratch.

Kelomo assembles the day ready from the working-time model, the calendar, a shift or a clock-in. Fix only what changed, and sign off the rest.

Working-time calendar: the week’s days ready on a time grid, to review and confirm

What you get

A day that’s already drafted

In the morning the day is waiting for review: start, end and breaks are already filled in.

Fix a day that didn’t go to plan

Edit times and breaks, or add the entry type you need.

One-tap confirmation

An ordinary day is signed off with a single tap, and the whole week can be confirmed at once.

Works on mobile too

Reviewing and confirming the day works in the iOS and Android app – without a network if needed.

History stays put

The calculation for past weeks does not change even when the working-time model is updated.

An adjustable day proposal

The proposal follows the team’s settings and can be changed or switched off if the way of working changes.

Day sources

Four sources for the workday.

Pick the way that suits the team. Kelomo puts the start and end times, breaks and entry type in place based on how the work is done.

  • Working-time model A standard day by weekday – for office work without a time clock.
  • Calendar Entries in the Microsoft 365 or Google calendar give the day its frame.
  • Shift A published shift creates the day automatically.
  • Clock-in Clock-in times become an editable day draft.

Recording

Enter by hand when the day differs from the plan.

Adjust start, end and breaks, add rows and pick an entry type. Entry types and their rules are defined per organisation.

  • Multiple entry types For example, normal work, travel time, training or on-call – each with its own rules (counts as working time, accrues flexitime).
  • Breaks automatically The statutory break is deducted when needed, so no one has to remember it.
  • Entry types in three languages Names show to the employee in Finnish, Swedish or English.

Confirmation

Confirming takes a second.

When the details are right, confirm the day or the whole week at once.

  • A day or the whole week Already-confirmed days and days off are skipped, so nothing is signed off twice.
  • Corrections are easy The employee can reopen a confirmed day until the supervisor has approved it.
  • Balances update at once Confirmed working time updates flexitime and other balances with no separate calculation.
  • A clear decision for extra hours You choose what happens to time beyond the target – balance, pay or the working-time bank – and the supervisor confirms it.
Employee home: the week done, flexitime balance up to date and working-time status all clear

Automation

Let the ordinary day take care of itself.

Kelomo learns from confirmed history what an ordinary day looks like and can confirm it for you if you want. Automation is always the employee’s own choice.

  • Learns from your own routine The proposal gets more accurate with every confirmed week – the more ordinary the week, the less there is to correct.
  • Auto-confirmation with permission With your advance permission, an ordinary day can confirm itself. An auto-confirmed day is marked and can be reopened.
  • The employee’s own choice Automation is off by default. It can be switched off at any time, and what has been learned can be forgotten on request.

Supervisor approval queue with exceptions highlighted
The approval queue: only days with exceptions need attention.

Supervisor approval

Review only the exceptions.

The approval queue shows at once what needs attention. Sign off clear days in one go and return the rest with a reason.

  • Bulk approval Approve the whole team’s clean days in one action.
  • Return with a reason Return a day to the employee for correction and write the reason.
  • Substitutes and acting on someone’s behalf Approve as a substitute or record on the employee’s behalf; the actor stays visible.
  • Every decision in the same queue Beyond workdays, leave, travel claims, expenses and shift swaps are approved from the same queue, exceptions highlighted.

Frequently asked

About recording and confirmation

01 Where does the day’s entry come from?

From the working-time model, the calendar, a published shift or a clock-in. Manual entry and correction are always possible.

02 Can a confirmed day be corrected?

Yes. The employee can reopen the day before the supervisor approves it, and the supervisor can return or correct the day even after that.

03 What entry types are available?

Entry types are defined per organisation – for example, normal work, travel time, training or on-call, each with its own rules.

04 Does the calculation for past weeks change if the working-time model is updated?

No. Working-time models are versioned, so past weeks are calculated by the model that was in force then.

Less to fill in. More reliable working-time data.
