Service contracts

Agreed maintenance has to get done

A service contract connects the customer’s sites, recurring work and agreed charges. Kelomo creates work orders from upcoming maintenance and helps show what is waiting for a technician.

Upcoming maintenance, due dates and previous work under a service contract

From a service interval to a work order

Recurring service stays in the plan

Service intervals for a site or asset keep upcoming work visible. The agreed service continues under the same contract from one service to the next.

The work order is created in time

As maintenance approaches, a work order and a suggested visit time are created. Dispatch also handles jobs for which no suitable time was found.

Contract fees and additional work on separate lines

Bill the contract fee monthly, quarterly or annually. Define which maintenance, call-outs and parts are included. Work recorded during visits provides material for separate charges.

Agree on renewal with the customer in time

Expiring contracts appear in follow-up. When CRM and contract renewal are enabled, Kelomo can create a renewal opportunity before the notice period ends.

Good to know

Does the hour allowance restart at every visit?

No. The allowance belongs to the work order, so all visits for that order use the same allowance. Work beyond the allowance can be billed separately.

What if maintenance cannot be fitted into the schedule?

The job remains for dispatch to resolve. A time suggestion does not change the maintenance deadline. Skipped maintenance requires a recorded reason.

Does Field service include service contract invoicing?

Yes. The Field service add-on includes invoicing. Tracking contract renewals in CRM also requires the Sales, projects and invoicing add-on.
