The work week widget

Add published shifts to your phone's home screen and refresh the widget's information when needed.

Updated

The Work week widget shows your published shifts and planned weekly hours on your phone’s home screen. The current day is highlighted. Tap the widget to open shifts in the Kelomo mobile app.

Add the widget

First open Kelomo and sign in so the app can fetch your shifts.

  • iPhone: touch and hold an empty area of the home screen to edit it. Open the widget picker and find Kelomo — Work week. The widget shows the current and following week.
  • Android: touch and hold an empty area of the home screen, open the widget picker and add Kelomo — Work week. Increase its height to show the following week too.

Menu names and steps may vary by phone.

Understand the information shown

The widget shows published shifts only. No published shifts means the week’s roster has not been published yet or you have no shifts that week.

The widget uses the latest information fetched by the app. The day highlight and displayed week can advance without opening the app, but new and changed shifts need to be fetched through the app.

If the information looks out of date, open Kelomo and check your shifts while connected to the internet. Once the stored weeks have passed, the widget asks you to open the app.
