Find your assigned visits on the mobile app’s Jobs tab. Next visit on the home screen shows your next stop and how many visits are left today.
Check the site and equipment
Open a visit to see the address, navigation button and contact’s phone number. Saved access details are available to the assigned technician on the day of the visit.
Open the maintenance log from the equipment card to review earlier services, work and measurements. You can also look up equipment by scanning its QR code.
Update the visit status
Set the visit to On the way when you leave and On site when you arrive. If you have not clocked in, the app offers to clock you in for this job. Confirm this separately.
Complete the required checklist items before marking the visit Done.
Complete the checklist and add parts
The visit uses the checklist defined for its work type when the visit was created. Mark completed items and add the required readings and photos. The report form shows missing information and warnings.
Select used parts from the item register. If an item has stock tracking, also choose the location it was taken from. Once saved, the entry reduces the stock quantity at that location.
Create a work report
Each work report covers one visit. Review the work, readings, photos and lines, and write a summary. Ask the customer to enter their name and sign on the phone’s screen.
If the customer is absent or declines to sign, record the reason. You can save a report without a signature.
Enter the recipient’s email address to send the report to the customer. Leave the address blank if you do not want to email it at this stage.
A saved report is locked. Make corrections in a new version so that the earlier report is retained.
Work offline
Open the day’s visits and their details while connected to the internet. Offline, you can use visit details already downloaded to the device. Not all register information can be retrieved without a connection.
Status changes, checklist updates, lines and photos can be queued on the device. The app shows how many entries are waiting to be sent.
Opening the report form requires an internet connection. If the connection is lost after opening the form, the report can be queued. It is sent when the connection returns and its photos have uploaded. A report saved on the device is not yet available to the customer.
Once reconnected, check that the entries were saved in Kelomo. Rejected entries appear under Entries that did not save. Check the reason and the visit’s current details before entering anything again to avoid duplicates.
