Save and send sales emails

Save customer emails in CRM using a BCC address or Microsoft 365 mail, and send emails from Kelomo.

Updated

You can save customer correspondence in CRM using a BCC address or by connecting your mailbox to Kelomo. Messages appear on the timeline of the related customer, lead or deal. CRM permissions determine who can see them.

Save messages with BCC

Set up the email logging address in the CRM settings. When sending a customer an email from your email app, add this address as a BCC recipient. Kelomo matches the message to CRM records using the recipient’s email address.

Connect Microsoft 365 mail

Connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox under My settings → Microsoft 365 mail. Messages are then saved automatically, without adding a BCC address.

  • Kelomo saves only messages whose sender or recipient is a CRM contact or lead. Other messages are skipped.
  • Messages are read from the Inbox and Sent folders.
  • When connecting for the first time, choose how far back to import messages.
  • You can disconnect at any time. Messages already saved remain in your shared customer register.

If the connection requires a new sign-in, reconnect your mailbox on the same settings page.

Send an email from Kelomo

Once your mailbox is connected, you can write and send emails from Kelomo to a lead or a deal’s contact. Messages are sent from your own address and saved to the timeline.

Choose Use a template to start with a saved subject and message. Templates can include details that are filled in automatically, such as the contact’s name or the quote number. Review the completed message before sending it.

A template can be personal or shared with the organisation. Choose its purpose: a general message, sending a quote or following up on a deal.
