On the Day proposal & auto-confirm page, you choose what information the day proposal uses and whether Kelomo may confirm straightforward days for you.
The settings on the page are your own. You can switch every setting on and off whenever you like.
Choose what the proposal uses
The Day proposal & auto-confirm section holds the master switch Use self-learning automation.
In Learning and signals, choose what the proposal is based on:
- Use the calendar in the proposal – the timings of the bookings are included. See Connect your calendar.
- Use my learned typical day – the proposal uses the rhythm learned from your earlier days.
- Suggest my usual project – suggests a project and cost centre based on your previously confirmed entries.
- Read calendar titles for projects – off by default. When this is on, only the derived project is stored from the title.
- Destination country from the event title – suggests the destination country for a trip based on the title. Only the country code is stored.
- Allow learning – when off, Kelomo does not update your learned typical day.
- Forget what was learned – removes the pattern learned from your previous entries.
Under Default project, choose the project suggested when the calendar, work site or your previous entries do not provide a more specific option.
Let Kelomo confirm straightforward days for you
The Auto-confirmation section holds the setting Confirm clean days for me. It only applies to finished days that Kelomo identifies as high-confidence and free of exceptions. All other days are left for you to confirm.
By enabling the setting, you allow Kelomo to confirm these days for you. The day is marked as confirmed by you, not by your supervisor.
You recognise an auto-confirmed day from the message: Day confirmed automatically. You can reopen it for editing.
Reopen for editing opens the day, and a reopened day is not confirmed automatically again.
Auto-confirmation is always the employee’s own choice. Your employer cannot switch it on for you. If you do not want it, leave Confirm clean days for me off.
If you cannot find the Automation page
Day proposal & auto-confirm appears under My settings only after your employer has turned self-learning automation on. If the tab is not there, the feature is not in use in your organisation. You can still record and confirm your days as usual. Ask your administrator to enable the feature if needed.
Your employer enables the feature for the organisation, but you control your own automation settings. Auto-confirmation is off by default.
Switching automation off does not remove the ordinary calendar or model proposal. Kelomo still builds a day proposal from the working time model and the calendar, but does not use the self-learning component based on your previous working habits.
If something goes wrong
Kelomo repeatedly suggests the wrong project. Check the Default project and, if needed, switch Suggest my usual project off. If the learned pattern is out of date after, for example, a change of team or role, press Forget what was learned.
A day was confirmed even though you wanted to review it. Press Reopen for editing, correct it and confirm it again. You can reopen your own confirmed day as long as your supervisor has not approved it yet – after that, see Correct an already confirmed day.
You do not want Kelomo learning about you. Switch Allow learning off and press Forget what was learned.
