Kelomo builds a complete proposal for the day from the work-time model and the data sources in use – your calendar bookings, your shift and your punches. Review the proposal and confirm it.
Before confirmation the day is a draft you can edit freely, and the changes leave no trace. After confirmation the day goes to your supervisor for approval.
Confirm a single day
- Open Working time from the main menu. You see your own week.
- Click the day’s column and the Day breakdown opens. Compare the
Expectation row (what was expected of you) with the Recorded row (what
the proposal says). The breakdown always tells you where the proposal came
from:
· proposal,· punchedor· entered manually. - Correct the entries, breaks and entry types if needed. Every change saves immediately, and you get an Undo option for ten seconds.
- Press Confirm day.
The green ✓ in the column header confirms the day without opening the breakdown.
Confirm the whole week at once
- Confirm week confirms all the week’s confirmable days at once. The action skips days that cannot be confirmed: days already confirmed, empty days off, future days, and days with an absence request under review.
- Confirm clean confirms only those days that Kelomo recognises as high-confidence and deviation-free. The rest are left for you to review.
If days have piled up over several weeks, the top of the page says how many days are waiting for confirmation. Review oldest moves straight to the oldest week. Start with the oldest: the payroll period close handles the oldest days first.
If the day went over target
When a day accumulates working time over the target, Kelomo asks before confirmation what to do with the excess:
- To flex balance – the hours stay on your flexitime balance.
- To payout – the hours are put forward for payment.
- To time bank – the hours transfer to the balance account you choose.
The choice is yours, and your supervisor handles the day as usual. The Statutory overtime row in the breakdown is computed: it tells you which part of the work exceeds the statutory overtime limits, but overtime always requires the employer’s initiative.
If something goes wrong
The Confirm day button is not showing. The most common cause is one of these:
| Situation | What you see | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| An absence request is awaiting a decision | The absence request is awaiting a decision – the day can be confirmed once it is handled. | Wait for your supervisor’s decision. An approved whole day off is confirmed along with the decision; otherwise the day frees up for confirmation. |
| A punch session is still open | The punch session is still open – confirm the day after clocking out. | Clock out. |
| The day has no content | The day shows as Day off | A day off does not need confirming. |
| The payroll period is locked | A banner at the top of the page | Contact payroll. |
| You have no work-time model | No work-time model has been assigned to you yet… | Contact your administrator. |
I confirmed the day by accident. Open the day and press Reopen for editing. You can reopen your own confirmed day yourself as long as your supervisor has not approved it yet. If approval has already happened, ask your supervisor to correct the day – see Correct an already confirmed day.
My supervisor returned my day. You see the date and the reason in the week view. Correct the day and confirm it again.
