The home page

The home page gathers everything that is waiting for you – the rows come from the features your organisation has in use.

Updated

The home page answers one question: what is expected of me right now? Everything that waits for you rises onto the home page – you do not need to tour the menu looking for things to do.

Needs attention

The most important part of the page. Every row is a matter waiting for you personally: for example an unconfirmed work day, a day your manager returned, an announcement waiting for acknowledgement or a task falling due. A manager’s list also carries the team’s matters waiting for approval.

Clicking a row takes you straight to the right place to handle the matter. Which rows you can get depends on your role and on the features in use in your organisation – no two people’s home pages look the same.

When the list is empty, everything is handled. The home page is not meant to always show something.

Where I stand and What’s coming

Where I stand shows your own situation at a glance – for example your flex balance and your remaining leave days. What’s coming shows the known days ahead, such as your next shifts. Clicking a tile takes you to the more detailed view.

Quick actions

At the top of the page are the fastest actions: Report absence and New, where you start a new record. The menu’s contents depend on the features in use.

For managers: Team today

A manager additionally sees the team’s day on their home page: who is out today and how many team members have unconfirmed days.

If something goes wrong

The home page is empty. Good – nothing is waiting for you right now.

You expect to see something that is not there. The feature may not be in use in your organisation, or it is not part of your role. See How Kelomo works and ask your admin if needed.
