You do not create the account yourself. Your employer adds you to Kelomo, and you activate the account by setting a password. Usually you receive an invite link by email – if your employer gave you a shared initial password, you sign in directly without an invite.
Activate your account with the invite link
- Open the invite link in your email. The page is titled Activate your account, and it states your name and your organisation: “…added you to Kelomo. Set a password to get started.”
- Check the email address. It is locked – the account is tied to the address the invite was sent to.
- Type a Password (at least 10 characters) and repeat it in the Repeat password field.
- Press Activate and sign in. You are signed in straight away, so no separate log-in is needed.
The invite link is valid for 14 days. An expired link takes you no further, and you will need a new invite instead.
Activate your account with a Microsoft or Google account
If your organisation allows it, the invite page offers Sign in with Microsoft and Sign in with Google alongside the password field. Press the button, sign in with your usual work account and you are in. The password is then left out altogether, and next time you sign in with the same button. The page shows the ways your organisation has turned on.
If the address on your Microsoft or Google account differs from the address the invite went to, Kelomo shows both addresses and asks whether they are the same person. The accounts are linked only once you answer Continue.
If your employer gave you an initial password
Then no invite is sent at all. Sign in directly with your email address and the password you received from your employer.
Your username is always your email address – the same in the browser and in the mobile app.
Signing in later
The Sign in page has the Email and Password fields and a Sign in button.
Advanced settings reveals the API URL field. The default value works; change it only if your employer has given you an address of your own.
If your organisation uses single sign-on, press Sign in with your organisation and use the same credentials as for your other tools.
The mobile app is the same account
You sign in to the mobile app with the same credentials – no separate account is created. The app’s views are described in The mobile app.
If something goes wrong
| Situation | What you see | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The invite link has expired or has already been used | The invite link is invalid or has expired. | Ask your manager or your admin to send the invite again. On your page there is a Resend invite button. |
| The passwords do not match | Passwords do not match | Type the same password in both fields. The minimum length is 10 characters. |
| Signing in with a password does not work | Your organisation uses single sign-on. | Your organisation has made single sign-on mandatory. Press Sign in with your organisation. |
| You do not know the API URL | Advanced settings → API URL | Most of the time you do not need to touch the field. If signing in still does not work, ask your admin for the address. |
The invite went to the wrong address. The email field cannot be changed on the activation page, because the invite is tied to the address. Ask your admin to correct the address and send the invite again.
What next
After signing in, your own home page opens. Kelomo builds a proposal for the day, which you check and confirm.
