If an expected notification is missing, first check the notification centre using the bell icon. Push notifications, email and in-app notifications are separate delivery methods.
Check your notification settings
Open My settings → Notifications. In Channels, check that push or email notifications are enabled as required. Also check the setting for the particular reminder, summary or topic.
Time reminders are sent only when relevant. For example, a confirmed day does not trigger the same confirmation reminder.
If you have not changed a setting yourself, the organisation’s default may apply. Administrators manage these under Settings → Administration and security → Notification defaults.
Check quiet hours and digests
Quiet hours can delay push and email notifications until the quiet period ends. Urgent notifications, such as shift changes, may bypass quiet hours.
Choose how mentions and updates to followed tasks are delivered in Task communication. If you chose the morning digest, they will not arrive immediately. Check the digest time too.
Push notifications do not appear on your phone
Check that Kelomo has permission to display notifications in your phone’s settings. Also check notification visibility and focus or do-not-disturb settings. Battery saving and background activity restrictions may delay notifications.
Open Kelomo while connected to the internet. If notifications are still missing, see Mobile app problems.
No email arrived
Check your account’s email address, spam folder and mail filters. The sender chooses the channels for an announcement, so not every announcement is emailed. Your own notification settings also affect delivery.
If the notification is still missing, tell an administrator or support which event you expected, when it happened and whether the notification is missing from the app, email or phone.
