Why can't I see a page or feature?

Check the selected organisation, enabled features and your permissions.

Updated

A missing page or action does not always mean something is wrong. Visibility depends on the organisation’s features, your permissions and, for example, project membership.

Check the organisation and view first

If you belong to several organisations, check the user menu to make sure the right one is selected. If the page is visible but a record is missing, also check the search, filters and date range.

Is the feature enabled?

An administrator can check Settings → Organisation → Features. Some features also require an organisation subscription or an individual licence.

See Licences, subscription and modules.

Do you have the required permissions?

Your role provides default permissions, but the organisation can change role permissions and grant additional access to individuals. The role name alone does not tell you everything.

Access to settings pages, sales, projects and approvals depends on the relevant permissions. The people or projects you can view may also be restricted. Project costs and margins may be hidden even when other project details are visible.

Ask an administrator to check access to the specific feature. See Roles and permissions.

A project is missing from time entry options

Check the project’s status and your membership of its team. Permission to view a project is not necessarily permission to record time against it. The project manager or administrator can check what is missing.

Access was granted, but the feature is still missing

Refresh the page and check again. If the problem continues, tell the administrator which page or action is missing, which organisation is selected and any error message. This helps them check the specific permission without granting unnecessarily broad access.
